ADVANCED RESEARCH FOR LIFE

Discover new treatments by using the best models of human neurodegenerative diseases

our MODELS

STEMAXON has developed expertise in the manipulation and directed differentiation of human pluripotent stem cells into different class of neurons. STEMAXON can now provide human cortical neurons and photoreceptor cells for the study of neurodegenerative diseases.

Alzheimer's disease (AD):

1) Control and sporadic AD neurons derived from induced pluripotent stem cells.

- Validated and robust AD phenotype in the differentiated neurons!

2) Genetically modified human neurons that can reproduce sporadic AD (Patent pending).

- Validated and robust AD phenotype in the differentiated neurons!

Retinal degenerative diseases:

1) Photoreceptors and RPE cells derived from human pluripotent stem cells for the study of inherited retinal degenerative diseases. We are now expanding our products to offer disease-modeling retinal neurons using patient-derived induced pluripotent stem cells and genetically modified pluripotent stem cells.
